It's DONE!

It's done & it's dump!

The time I started this project is actually too late, it was almost the end of the year when everybody were busy preparing for the coming holiday including me, and even worse, Ralf was hospitalized for a nose operation those days, I slept only about four hours a day, staying at hospital at day, then back home working on the project at midnight, but it's still late. It gives me the lesson, next time if I decide to start a project like this, do it earlier.

Also it's dump coz I don't have enough time to perfect it.

And, I missed a lot of things, me & Ralf's holidays, time with my parents, junior&high schoolmates parties, new year bargains..and so.

Sometimes I think I'm stupid and I really am.

Anyway it's finished, which means I can have a normal sleep tomorrow, I can go out for shopping, movie, and pizza.

Olibith to dust

Start working on Olibith today, I couldn't get a better idea so just followed his - gnome shot by lightning, for addition, I made him turned into dust and only remained smoke.

Turning into dust scared me however, it reminded me of insects, but I was pretty satisfied with the final results though.

Wish the whole video can be done by tonight, it's already too late=(

Spring Fireworks Festival

Spring Fireworks Festival is being held twice a year in Dalian, this year, (as there's "today", can I use the word "toyear"?) it comes on Jan.27th and Feb.9th, on the biggest square in Asia - Xinghai Square. People drove a long way here for the show, the streets became crowd, and they waited a long time in the cold weather. However I'm so lucky for living on the side of the square, there's no need for me to go downstairs even, I just got the best view from my balcony, with my nightclothes & slippers on^^ There were many kinds of fireworks, such as smile faces, footprints, the same as those played on Olympic Opening Ceremony last year in Beijing, only the sizes were smaller this time. Too bad I don't have a camera, so I borrowed today's photo from someone else, I'll try getting a DV before the next show comes, if I can=(

Listen to Brother Pig

I know this title seems pretty dump, Jay, a singer from Taiwan, wrote this song named "Listen to Mom", then Yaoyao, who's well-known as a WoW lyrics rewriter, has recently rewrited it and named it above. Pig's pronounce in Chinese is Zhu, Mr.Zhu is the CEO of The9 company which runs WoW here, so "Listen to Brother Pig" means "Listen to Mr.Zhu", but Yaoyao prefers "Listen to Zug" to be its English name, he thinks this sounds like Zul'gurub.

It has nothing to do with me at first, 'coz Yaoyao has his own female singer Susu to sing every song that was written by him, and she of course sang this one too. Unfortunately , spring festival holidays came, she went back to her hometown, after her leave, Yaoyao found out two parts of the lyrics were not good enough so he changed them, and asked me to re-sing those two parts.

Okay first, I'm not at singing; second, I'm not good at singging rap, especially rap with high speed; third, I can't sing at day, Ralf laughs at me all the time, so I do it at midnight carefully with a very low voice, it comes to be a really difficult work, I tried many times and finally succeed, though it might not be so good.

New Year's process

Keep working on the new year's greeting video, my AE couldn't be started this morning, which made me very nervous, as all stuffs were in there, it's impossible to remake them again. I re-installed the programme two or three times, nothing changed, then I deleted the AE folder under C:\, the problem finally solved.

I got so surprised when receiving this video from Jack, I only asked for his voice, but he recorded a video with himself in front of the camera, holding a mic in whose hand, talking like a super star. I had to say I was moved by this.

Chinese New Year's Eve

Here finally comes Chinese New Year's Eve！Happy new year to everybody^^

The fireworks started at six o'clock pm, & it'll last for more than seven hours, I've been hearing them for more than twenty years but I still can't like them, they're just a little bit...tooooooo noisy, and bad smells too, however I won't go outside.

This year is the Year of Ox, there're ox' appearances everywhere, pictures, dolls, statues, etc. Last year was the Year of Mouse, as we don't like mouse that much(my cats maybe do), people use Micky Mouse instead, so we had a Chinese New Year with a foreign mouse^^

Starting an English blog

I'm trying to start an English blog, as my Eng is actually terrible, perhaps no one could ever be able to understand, so I'll try my best to communicate with you...by body language. orz

It is kind of you to point out my grammar mistakes, no, I don't think there'll be any spelling mistakes, 'coz I never use complex words lol.

Well, have a self-introduce first, this is Quinnie, a machinima fan, plays World of Warcraft & Puzzle Pirates(at the server Sage). I have one husband plus three cats, named Luffy, Ruby, & Louis. My husband Ralf is a druid tank, me, a shaman healer ( I also own a druid healer), the other three I guess, are druids in cat form, who might have better dps when they meet mice, but bad dps when meeting boss.

I've made a couple of machinimas before but not quite satisfied with them, I wish I may show you some good ones in the future. My favorite machinima author is Baron Soosdon, favorite group is AFK Pl@yers, maybe it's because the similar culture we have, every time I watch their video I just can't help laughing.

The only reason I write this blog is on the purpose of practising my English, no matter people read it or not, I'll write on my own=)
